Born in Hodonín, Czech Republic, studied at the Faculty of Architecture in Brno. During his studies, he attended several architectural workshops, including Porto Academy. In 2016, he was one of the founding members of M2AU. He is also a member of 4AM / Forum for Architecture and Media and a founding member of the group Final_Final.
His work is characterized by conceptual and theoretical approach and a permanent drive to redefine the stereotypes of the architectural discipline, which often leads him to a relativization of the profession and its values. Material truth, Czech rigidness and a contextual approach do not necessarily need to be a dogma. That is also a topic of his dissertation work. In his free time, David tries to produce his own wine.
